Study on the effect of different spacing on the typhoon resistance of
youngEucalyptus plantation showed that“wide row spacing and narrow tree spacing”is the
bestplanting spacing to resist typhoon. The effect of 4.5 m row spacing is better than that of 3
mline spacing if their narrow tree spacing is the same. The effect of 1 or 1.5 m tree spacing
isbetter than that of 3 or 2.5 m tree spacing if their wide row spacing is the same.
Plantingspacing of 3 m×3 m is the worse one.
