详细论述了在黄土高原侵蚀沟内建设淤地坝的效益和发展前景，同时，分析了淤地坝溃决的原因，并提出了防治对策。
The construction of deposition dams and its prospects in the Loess Plateau are dis-cussed.The reason why deposition dams have been destroyed is analysed,and the appropriatecountemeasures are also proposed.
