影园复建是园林界的大事,是众望所归之举。以山影﹑水影﹑柳影成园的影园是计成的手笔,其巧于因借,以简寓繁,以少胜多,情景相融,意趣耐寻之处尤值得今人借鉴。《园冶》堪称世界最古老的造园著述杰作之一,是计成毕生造园理论和实践的总结。
The reconstruction of Ying garden is a great event in the garden circle of China, and enjoys popular confidence. Ji Cheng＇s Ying Garden combines the image of hill, the reflection in water, and the shadow of willows, and all of those can be described by Chinese word Ying （影）. By borrowing scenery into itself, and expressing complexity by briefness, the scenery of Ying Garden makes every single site be meaningful and interesting. Ying Garden is worthy of study for current people. Ji Cheng＇s work Yuanye could be regarded as the best ancient literature of garden construdion. It＇s the sum-up of Ji Cheng＇s lifetime about gardening theories and practices.
