Objective To explore the physiological responses of amphibian armored vehicle drivers during training at sea in summer in order to provide the scientific data for the troop training and improving the weapon equipments. Methods The physiological parameters of ten amphibian armored vehicle drivers were surveyed in time during training at sea. Results The heart rate (HR), blood pressure (Be), body temperature (T), respiring frequency (RF) and ventilation volume (VE) of the drivers during training were increased and the percentage of saturated oxygen in blood ( SaO2% ) was decreased. The maximal increasing rates were 39.6% for HR, 11.7% for systolic BP, 1.9% for T, 37.0% for RF, 59.9% for VE and - 1.3% for SaO2%. Conclusion The physiological loads of the drivers may be increased under the influence of work time, work environment, work task and mental state during training at sea.
