The paper describes the harmonic features of Industrial silicon furnace in detail in terms of the generation of harmonid, the mathematic modeling of industrial silicon furnace, the influence of harmonic and its limit value. It also demonstrates the features of reactive power and other electric features as well as introduces the control of harmonic and the filtering devices for reactive power compensation.
