摘要
在用内耗法研究Al/SiCp复合材料阻尼性能的基础上,利用超声衰减法研究该复合材料的阻尼特性。通过测试粉末法制备不同体积比Al/SiCp复合材料的超声衰减系数,用1.25MHz,2.5MHz,5MHz和10MHz的超声波对体积比分别为5%,7%,9%和12%的Al/SiCp复合材料进行测试,得到各种情况下的超声衰减系数α。分析超声衰减系数α随测试频率f和SiC体积比的变化规律,其中超声吸收衰减系数与SiC体积比密切相关。实验表明超声吸收衰减系数随频率f增大而增大,也随SiC体积比的增大而增大。从而提出一种利用超声吸收衰减系数为参数来测试Al/SiCp复合材料SiC体积比的方法。
Based on the results of research about SiC particle reinforced Aluminium matrix composite's damping properties by internal friction method, the damping properties for this kind of composite were studied by measuring ultrasonic attenuation coefficient. The composite samples with volume fractions of 5%, 7%, 9% and 12% fabricated by powder metallurgy were tested by ultrasonic with different frequencies. The ultrasonic frequencies were 1. 25MHz, 2. 5MHz, 5MHz and 10MHz respectively. The values of ultrasonic attenuation coefficient could be obtained from the experiments. The relationship between ultrasonic attenuation coefficient α and frequency f were gained. The experimental results show that, the absorbing attenuation coefficient is closed related with ultrasonic frequency and SiC volume fraction. The value of absorbing attenuation coefficient increases with increasing of volume fraction of SiC and frequency f. A simple and fast method of testing SiC volume fraction about SiC particle reinforced Aluminium matrix composite is provided by the relationship between ultrasonic attenuation coefficient and frequency f and SiC volume fraction.
