摘要
保利艺术博物馆近期收藏的■方鼎和荣仲方鼎,都有珍贵的铭文。■方鼎有铭文两处38字,记载了商王纣祭祀其父帝乙的事迹,历日为廿二祀五月乙未日,与由甲骨文等推定的祀谱相合。鼎铭中纣居于阑地,应在殷墟之外不远。荣仲方鼎则作于西周早期,有铭文48字,与当时学制有关。其历日有“生霸吉”一词,和周公庙背甲上的“哉死霸”一样,是过去从来不曾见到的。
Ban and Rongzhong Quadripod Dings, engraved with precious inscriptions, were collected by Poly Art Museum. Ban Ding was inscribed with 38 words in two places, they record that Zhou, the last emperor of Shang Dynasty, offered sacrifices to his father Diyi. They also bear that the event happened in yiwei day, May of the twenty-second si (year), which coincides with the date concluded from inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells of Shang Dynasty. The description shows that Zhou resided at Lan, where perhaps was located around the Yin Ruins. Rongzhong Ding which includes 48 words was manufactured at the early stage of Western Zhou, the inscription is relevant to educational system. The date “Shengpoji”, along with the “Zhaisipo” which was discovered in a tortoise's back shell of Zhougong temple, has never been seen before.
