摘要
针对复杂背景下车牌图像定位不准,定位时间长等问题,提出了一种快速实用的车牌定位方法.在对图像边缘检测的基础上,实施图像二值化,并利用车牌的位置尺寸信息和纹理信息缩小搜索范围,实现车牌快速准确的定位.试验结果表明,对不同背景、不同车型的汽车图像,该方法具有较好的定位速度和精度.
A rapid practical location method of vehicle license plate based on the edge detection was advanced, thus improving the accuracy and real time ability of locating. In order to reduce the area of detection, binary images were acquired and scanned, and the information of the plate' s physical location and veins was used. Experiments on different backgrounds and different kinds of vehicle images were conducted, the experimental results showing that the proposed method was satisfactory in both speed and accuracy.
