作为德国19世纪继辛克尔以后最伟大的建筑师 和建筑理论家之一,戈特弗里德·森佩尔对于后世产生 了难以估量的影响,只是这些影响长久以来被严重低估, 也未得到充分认识。本文以森佩尔的两个相互影响的理 论焦点——材料与面饰——为线索,考察了他的理论著 述中与当代建筑学有着密切关联的三个主题,即彩饰理 论,建筑四要素理论,以及他后期才明确提出的面饰理 论。此外,文章也指出了森佩尔的理论核心以及他的论 述中独特的人类学视角,并在最后阐述了他的理论遗产 和后续影响,以及他与现代建筑的暧昧关系。
As one of the greatest German architects and theorists following Schinkel.Gottfried Semper had exerted a tremendous impact on the subsequent development of architectural discourse which has been ultimately underestimated and not yet fully recognized.Following up the dues of Semper's two interacted theoretical focuses of material and architectural dressing(Bekleidung).the paper examines three co-reiated themes of Semper which are in close connection to the current architectural scene,namely,Polychromy,Four-elements-of-Architecture and his Bekleidungtheorie which was not clarified till his late days.The paper also points out his theoretical core as well as the anthropological underpinnings in his theoretical development,and finally concludes by expounding histheoretical legacies and enduring influences,as well as his equivocal relation with the modern architecture.
