Novel Electromagnetic Material

摘要 左手材料是具有负折射率特征的新型材料。电磁波在这种材料中传播将具有不同寻常的特性。详细的回顾了这种新型人工电磁材料背景、研究进展,并着重介绍了这种材料在微波频段雷达成像,定向天线,隐形等军事领域的应用前景。 Left-handed material is a novel material which has a negative refractive index. Electromagnetic wave will exhibit some extraordinary phenomenon when propagating in the left-handed material. The paper makes a review on the recent advance in this material, with a focus on the applications of the metamaterial in the military use, such as the radar image, directional antenna and absorbing.
