摘要
车牌定位在车牌自动识别系统中占有非常重要的地位。在对小波的一些特性进行分析的基础上,提出了一种基于多分辨率分析的快速车牌定位算法。将分解出的高频图像经过后继处理即可定位出车牌,这种算法不仅提高了车牌定位的速度,而且大大提高了定位的准确率。
License plate orientation plays an important role in license plate recognition system.Based on the analysis of some qualities of wavelet, this paper presents a new fast license plate positioning algorithm of multiple distinguishing rate.The license plate region is positioned by disposing the high frequency image created by wavelets operation,this arithmetic enhances the position velocity and accuracy.
