摘要
利用中国气象局编著的1949-1988年的《台风年鉴》和1989-2003年的《热带气旋年鉴》资料,对南海热带气旋的发生源地、发生数的季节变化及年际变化特征等进行统计分析。结果表明:南海热带气旋主要发生在14°N-18°N,113°E-120°E的南海中部洋面上,热带气旋越强,其高发地点越偏东;热带气旋越弱,其高发地点越偏北;南海热带气旋的发生数有较明显的季节变化特征,5~9月是南海热带气旋的活跃期,其中9月份发生数最多,1~3月至今未发生过TS等级以上的热带气旋;南海热带气旋发生数的年际变化较大,发生数最少的年份只有1个,最多的年份为10 个,平均每年为5个左右;厄尔尼诺、拉尼娜的出现对南海热带气旋的发生有一定影响,南海热带气旋发生数厄尔尼诺年有所减少,拉尼娜年有所增多。
Based on the tropical cyclone(TC) data from 1949 to 2003, a brief study is made on the sources, seasonal variation and interannual variation of the tropical cyclone in South China Sea. The results are as follows: TC mainly develops in the area from 14°N to 18°N and from 113°E to 120°E. The stronger the TC is, the more eastern its development site is. The weaker the TC is, the more northern its development site is. The seasonal variation of the TC is obvious. TC is very active from May to September. The most active TC month is September. No TC other than TD develops in South China Sea from January to March up to now. The interannual variation is from minimum one to maximum ten with annual average five. The El-nino and the La-nina phenomena can influence the TC development over South China Sea. There is less TC during El-nino and more TC during La-nina.
