摘要
大学生是祖国的未来和民族的希望,对其进行民族精神培育,不仅是提升我国综合国力的需要,也是高校在全球化进程中传承民族文化,让大学生肩负起历史使命的需要。在新的历史条件下,大学生民族精神培育的主要内容包括:矢志不渝的爱国主义价值取向、锐意改革的艰苦奋斗精神,以及开拓进取的创新精神等。弘扬和培育民族精神是高校德育工作的重要内容,在具体实施时应当注意坚持优秀的传统文化和外来文化相结合,全员教育和大学生自我教育相结合,长期性教育和阶段性教育相结合的途径。
College students are our nation＇s future and hope. To develop their national spirit is the need not only to promote our comprehensive national power, but also to pass on national culture on the process of globalization, so as to make them undertake historical mission. Such situation calls for the new contents of national spirit cultivation including the persisting value orientation of patriotism, the spirit of hard struggle in reform with keen determination, and enterprising and pioneering sprit as well. Developing and cultivating national spirit is the core of the moral education in colleges and universities. The attention should be paid to combination of outstanding traditional culture with foreign culture, of whole - staff education .with students＇ self- education, and of longterm education with periodic education.
