Major Geo-events and Regional Geological Features of Guizhou

摘要 本文简要论述了贵州地史时期的主要地质事件及其产物,包括表生沉积地质事件(气候、生物、缺氧、重力流和风暴等事件),地球内营力引起的构造、构造热事件,以及地外冲击事件等;阐明了贵州区域地质的基本特征,即地层齐全化石丰富、海相碳酸盐岩广布、火成岩类较多但分布零星、层状浅变质岩发育和株罗山式褶皱典型等;指出了贵州地壳演化经历了新生大洋地壳→过渡地壳→大陆地壳漫长而渐进的发展过程,其地壳变形与陆内造山具有前陆褶皱冲断带的诸多特点,对大陆动力学研究是颇有意义的。 Today's geological patterns of Guizhou tectonically situated in the southwestern part of the Yangtze continental block were resulted from geodynamic interaction of two major tectonic domains of the Tethyan and the marginalPacific.In this paper, there is an overall review on the major eyents having occured in Guizhou throughout the geologic history since 1,600 Ma and their products. These events include such supergeneous sedimentary events as climate change,organic evolution, anoxygen, gravity flow, storm, and those caused by the earth's internal agent,such as structures and thermal-structures by volcanic eruption and plutonic intrusion of magma, as well as, meteorite impacts, and so on. In response to these events,the regional geology of Guizhou is characterized by a complete and diverse succession of strata abundant in the miscellaneous fossils, particularly a widespread distribution of marine carbonate rocks, various types but sparse distribution of igneous rocks, and the considerable development of stratiform epimetamorphic rocks and representative Jura-type folds.Finally, the geologically basic features outlined, in the author's opinion, reveal that the crust of Guizhou has undergone a long term evolutionary process of the Red-Sea-tpye oceanic crust through the transitional crust to the continental crust.As a result.it is in deformation and intracontinental collision-orogenesis both different from classical orogenic belts'and distinguished from stable platforms',whereas it has taken many characteristics of foreland fold-thrust belts and has strikingly developed a typical thin-skinned structure.It is obvious that these geological features are of importance to the further study on continental geodynamics.
