摘要
现有的有关大学核心竞争力的定义可分为“能力观”、“资源观”、“协同观”、“要素观”四类。从企业管理“核心竞争力”的概念出发进行分析,它们只是从一个或多个侧面部分地揭示了大学核心竞争力的内涵。结合对企业核心竞争力内涵和特征的分析,对大学核心竞争力可以作如下定义:大学核心竞争力是指一所大学长期形成的能使大学在竞争中保持可持续发展,建立在大学战略性资源基础之上的获取、创造、整合资源的特有的能力。
This paper discusses the concept of ＂core competence of the university＂ in terms of four aspects, namely, the ability outlook, the resources outlook, the coordinating outlook and the key-element outlook. In light of this concept in enterprise management, it can be certain that any of these four aspects only partially explores or does not fully entail the substance of core competence of the university. Thus, based on a close study of the four aspects, a comprehensive expounding of the concept ＂the core competence of the university＂ is proposed. It can he defined as the unique competence or power developed over a long period that enables the university to carry on sustainable development throughout intense competitions by strategically obtaining, ccreating and integrating resources.
