in the foaming of Pn, corn starch was used to react with the isocyanate to participate the foaming recipe so that starch group was made to join in the molecular of of PU to make the foam chemical modifying. SEM and IR spectra were used for investigation of the structure and physical properties of PU foam with corn starch. The results showed that when the content of corn starch was in 50% the hygroscopicity of PU foam compared with the one without cornstarch increases by about 20 times and machanical properties of PU foam is good.
