摘要
在体育科学研究实践中,往往需要把服从“正态分布”规律的许多小试验样本合并成一个具有某种代表性的大样本去分析研究,这就涉及计算该大样本的平均数和标准差问题。当样本较大时,计算∑N、∑X、∑X2等统计量十分繁琐,不但工作量大,还容易出错,甚至在获得数据信息不全时还无法进行有关计算。为弥补这些不足,特推荐应用小样本合拼成大样本的“组合标准差”新的简易求解方法。
In the practices of sport science research, it is well popular that the majority of small samples which conform to the regulation of "normal distribution" are merged into a representative large sample. This is concerned with the mean and the standard deviation of the sample. When the research sample is large, the calculation of ∑N, ∑X, ∑X^2 may be too complicated and easy to be wrong, Furthermore, the calculation can not be conducted if the number of the figures is not adequate. In order to overcome the above shortcomings, the new approach of "composite standard deviation" is introduced in this article.
