摘要
文章介绍时变分析的时间尺度谱方法及其在X射线天文学中的应用.时间尺度谱方法包括时域功率谱、时域时延谱以及w谱等,是一种直接应用在时域上的多尺度分析手段.相对于传统方法,时间尺度谱能更客观灵敏地反映物理实质,有效地抑制噪声干扰,在高背景低统计性的X射线天文观测中得到了很好的应用.
A review is presented of the timescale spectral analysis method proposed by Li et al. in recent years and its applications in X-ray astronomy. This is a multi-scale analysis technique in the time domain with a set of new definitions for the power spectrum and cross-correlation, and a novel w spectrum. Compared to traditional means, the technique is highly sensitive in reflecting the nature of physical processes, especially in X-ray astronomy where observations have poor statistics and a high background.
