摘要
数学和图书馆学相结合产生图书馆定量分析。它可应用于图书馆文献补充时学科种类的选择和复本量的确定,使图书馆学向计量化、精确化方向发展。进行图书馆的定量分析时应注意定量分析解决的问题要明确,搜集数据要科学,统计数据审查要严格。定量分析适用于图书馆工作的任何一个环节,是认识图书馆活动规律的有力工具,是开展图书馆业务工作评价的客观依据。
The quantitative analysis in the library comes from the combination of mathematics with library science. It is applicable to the selection of subjects and the determination of number of copies,making library science develop into metrology and precision. In the quantitative analysis, the problems to be solved should be explicit; the data collecting, scientific;the statistical data examining, exact. The quantitative analysis is suited to any link in the library work. And it is an approach to understanding the opertion law of library and the objective base for the library evaluation.
