107.18~424.42mg·h-1。 Ammonia concentration in animal housing facilities has been one of the high concerns because of its significant effects on human health, animal behavior and the environment. To investigate NH3 emissions flux from finishing pigs, ammonia concentration measurements were taken from pig farm houses for one year. Every two months, each collection data of 72-80 h were scheduled in 2004-2005. The results indicated that NH3 emission was strongly related to temperature and seasonal variation. The NH3 emission flux per pig was estimated based on ventilation rates calculated by application of carbon dioxide mass balance method. The NH3 concentration and emission flux varied diurnally and seasonally. The concentrations of NH3 averaged (10.09±4.60)mg·m^-3 in January, (3.44±2.34)mg·m^-3 in July, (6.29±4.07)mg·m^-3 in May and (6.98±2.63)mg·m^-3 in November, respectively. The concentrations of NH3 were lower between 9:00 am-17:00 pm during winter season, which greatly related to temperature and ventilation rate. NH3 emission flux from pig house varied between 107.18-424.42 mg·h^-1 per pig.
