The Effect of pH Value Towards River Snail's Existence and Growth

摘要 进行了不同pH值对田螺生存和生长影响的研究。结果表明:田螺正常生活适宜的水体pH值为5.5—7.5,最适pH值为6.0—7.0。pH值为6.5处理的生长率最高,pH值升高或下降,其生长率均下降,且存活率也下降。 Through doing eomperative experiments of fiver snail's existence and growth under different conditions of pH value, the authov not only probes into the circumstances of acid and alkaline that are suitable for its existence and growth , but also probes into the reasons causes of its existence and growth that pH value has effects on ,which provide some theoretical basises for artifical breeding if water snail. The results of experiments indicated that the appropfiate water pH value is 5.5 - 7.5, the best is 6.0- 7.0 that is of acidity. If pH value is 6.5 , the growth rate will be highest. If pH value increases or falls, the growth rate and the survival rate will descend simultaneously.
