摘要
介绍了纸浆中细小组分的概念、特征、制备、研究方法及对纸张性能的影响。
Fines of pulp, one of the important cellulose materials for the paper industry, have systematic effects on paper properties. Generally, the fines will decrease thickness, bulkness, porosity of paper, and will improve tensile strength, formation and smoothness of paper, and roll affect brightness, color, sizing properties of paper and so on to some extent. Considering the morphology of fines, fibril fines improve tensile strength of paper significantly while flake fines increase light scattering coefficient. Because of their different morphology and chemical composition, the fines of different kinds of pulp produce specific characteristics. The fines of kraft wood pulp are good for tensile strength of paper because of their characteristics of high fibril fines content and good accessibility. The fines of mechanical wood pulp can improve optical properties of paper because of their characteristics of high flake fines content, high lignin content and stiffness. The fines of straw-like pulp will deteriorate the strength of paper as they contain high content of non-fiber cells. Fines also affect other properties of paper by their process behavior (for example retention). The knowledge of the fines has profound significance in strengthening the pulp and paper process control and the development of new products.
