摘要
KTP晶体与其他非线性晶体相比具有明显的优势,但同时它具有相当高的电导率,因此极化过程中一直存在传导电流,使其不能利用传统的方法有效控制极化反转过程。为了解决这种困难,需要对KTP晶体的极化反转过程进行实时监控。采用了利用电光效应的实时监控方案,并且进行了理论分析,用实验验证了实时监控方案的可行性。与采用该方法前相比,KTiOPO4(简称PPKTP)器件的倍频转换效率提高了数倍。实验表明利用实时监控可以提高周期极化KTP晶体的制备质量和重复性,也可以作为周期极化KTP晶体质量的检验手段。
Compared with other nonlinear optical materials, high conductivity and it becomes difficult to efficiently control KTP crystal has prominent advantages. So to conquer the difficulty, it is necessary to monitor the polarization-reversal process of KTP crystal in real-time, Real-time monitoring method into the fabrication of PPKTP, short for KTiOP04 is carried out by utilizing electro-optical effect. The principle is analyzed theoretically and the result demonstrates the validity of the method experimentally, Compared with the results without the, monitoring method, the conversion efficiency of PPKTP crystal increases by many times. It is proved that this n:ethod can be used to enhance the quality and repeatability of PPKTP crystal fabrication, and is also effective to examine the quality of PPKTP crystal.
