摘要
影响语言的社会因素包括地域、方言、人的社会地位、性别、年龄、种族以及语域等。本文通过对比《英国每日电讯》和《镜报》的两则新闻报道,对社会语言学的应用予以探讨。
Soclal factors involved in the use of language are region, dialect, social class, gender, age, ethnicity and register. By comparing and contrasting two pieces of news from the Daily Telegraph and the Mirror from the sociolinguistic point of view, further discussions on the application of sociolinguistics are also carried out.
