Effects of high fluoride in drinking water on serum hormonal level

摘要 目的:探讨长期饮用高氟水对人群生殖内分泌的影响。方法:测定高氟区和对照区的水氟、居民即刻尿氟含量,随机选择2地成年居民各40名,应用放免分析法测定其血清中促黄体生成素(LH)、睾酮(T)、雌二醇(E2)和降钙素(CT)4种激素的含量。结果:高氟区水氟((3.86±1.19)mg/L)及人群尿氟水平((4.23±2.38)mg/L)均高于对照区((0.79±0.41)mg/L,(1.61±1.44)mg/L),差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。高氟区人群男性血清LH和T水平与对照区人群比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。高氟区人群女性血清LH水平(中位数13.72IU/L,极差51.51IU/L)高于对照区(中位数8.38IU/L,极差21.59IU/L)(P<0.05)。两地女性人群血清E2水平差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。高氟区成年居民血清CT水平((63.5±33.1)ng/L)与对照区成年居民((74.1±26.5)ng/L)相比差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论:高氟饮水影响女性人群血清LH水平。 Aim: To study the influence of high fluoride in drinking water on the' residents'serum hormonal level. Methods : The fluoride contents in drinking water and urine samples from fluoride exposed area and control area were determined. A total of 80 residents were chosen equally from 2 areas. The serum levels of luteinizing hormone (LH), testosterone (T) , estradiol (E2) , and calcitonin (CT) of the 80 residents were determined using radioimmunity. Results: Fluoride content in drinking water and urine sample in fluoride exposed area were (3.86 ± 1.19) mg/L and (4.23 ±2.38) mg/ L, which were distinctly higher than those of the control area ( (0.79 ± 0.41 ) mg/L and ( 1.61 ± 1.44) mg/L, P 〈 0.01 ). The serum level of LH and T in males from fluoride exposed area had no significant difference from those in control area ( P 〉 0.05 ). The serum level of LH in females from fluoride exposed area ( median 13.72 IU/L, range 51.51 IU/L) was distinctly higher than that of control area (median 8.38 IU/L, range 21.59 IU/L) (P 〈 0.05). The serum level of E2 in females and the serum level of CT from the 2 areas had no significant difference (P 〉 0.05). Conclusion: High fluoride in drinking water can influence the serum level of LH in females.
