摘要
针对概念隐喻中始发域与目的域之间映射的不完整性Lakoff(1990)与Grady(1996)分别提出了不变原则与基本隐喻和多元隐喻的概念。而不变原则只是一个相对概念,不能解释全部映射不完全现象,Grady的解决方案也存在诸多不明之处。对映射不完整性进行了分析,归纳了概念映射依赖的具体制约机制,并指出文化语境以及情景语境也发挥着映射制约机制的作用。
The mapping between the source domain and target domain is partial in nature. To account for this phenomenon, Lakoff （1990） and Grady （1996） respectively propose the invariance principle and primary and compound metaphors. However, both solutions are by no means satisfactory. This paper, based on the discussion of the partialness of conceptual mappings, tends to investigate the concrete constraining mechanisins that guide the process of conceptual mappings. Besides, the paper points out that cultural and situational contexts also function as constraining mechanisms of metaphorical mapping.
