摘要
报道了用热中子透射法测干玻璃纤维材料含硼量(B2O3)含量)的理论计算和实验研究的结果。对于质量为14、16、18、20、25g的样品,在含硼量为2%—14%范围内,透射率倒数的对数与含硼量(百分含量)间存在线性关系。线性相关系数为0.999,测量精度好于0.5%。
The theoretical calculation and experimental study on the measurement of boron (B 2O 3) content in dry glass fibre by using the thermal neutron trasmission method is reported. For the samples with a boron content of 2%-14% and a mass of 14-25g, a linear law of ln(1/T) against m has been found where T and m are transmission coefficient of slow neutrons and B 2O 3 content respectively. The linear correlation coefficient is 0.999 and precision of the boron content measurement is better than 0.5%.
