摘要
高性能水基钻井液(HPWBM)是为了满足环保需要而研制的一类可以替代油基钻井液(OBM)的新型钻井液体系,该项技术在国外引起了高度重视。介绍了国外高性能水基钻井液的室内研究和工艺技术方面取得的重要进展,包括其性能特点、井壁稳定机理、组成及处理剂作用、抑制性评价方法和现场应用效果。高性能水基钻井液已广泛应用于各种复杂井的钻井作业。现场应用效果表明,高性能水基钻井液提高了机械钻速,实现了低的稀释率和较高的固相清除效率,摩擦系数与油基钻井液基本相当,最大程度地减少了钻头泥包和聚结现象,大大节省了钻井和完井时间,提高了页岩地层的井壁稳定性,保护了环境。
High performance water base muds (HPWBM) are developed to replace oil base muds (OBM) to satisfy the needs for environment protection. HPWBM is widely accepted in foreign countries. This paper introduces the progresses in laboratory study and field application of the HPWBM in foreign countries. The characteristics, bore hole stabilization mechanism, composition and the use of the mud additives, the evaluation of the shale inhibitive capacity, and the field application of the HPWBM will be discussed in this paper. HPWBM has been widely applied in various complicated well drilling. Field practices show that the use of HPWBM can increase ROP, reduce the mud dilution rate and higher solids removal efficiency. The friction coefficient of the HPWBM is similar to that of the OBM. HPWBM has played an important role in reducing the bit balling and saving drilling/completion time. The stability of the bore hole in shale formations has been greatly enhanced, and the damage to the environment has been reduced to a minimum level.
