在三维空间里设计水面舰艇的船体结构是军船结构设计的发展趋势。介绍船体结构三维设计的构思;三维设计方法与传统二维设计方法的比较;目前三维设计可达到的设计深度。详细论述结构三维设计的研究内容和具体实施方法,揭示三维设计中的关键技术,最后提出舰艇船体结构三维设计的发展构想。
It is a trend to design the structure of naval vessels with three dimensional （3D） CAD tools. The concept of 3D design is introduced and the contrast between 3D and 2D design methods is made. The extent to which 3D tool can reach in structural design, the content and implementation of 3D design are also discussed. Key technologies of 3D design are introduced, Suggestions of 3D structural design for naval vessel are provided as well.
