摘要
文章首先基于Elsevier、ProQuest、CNKI《中国期刊全文数据库》和VIP《中文科技期刊数据库》四个国内外著名的数据库对国内外知识网络的研究现状进行了文献调研和分析；然后，通过对处于不同时空、不同研究领域的学者提出的“知识网络”概念的内涵和外延的分析，作者不仅从情报学定量化观点和知识组织的角度提出并论述了知识网络的情报学概念，而且还分别从知识网络的功能和知识网络的结构特征的角度进一步对知识网络的概念进行了界定；最后。深入分析和探讨了知识网络的内涵，并提出了广义知识网络和狭义知识网络的特征。
This paper first describes the status quo of Knowledge Network based on four famous databases in the world namely Elsevier, ProQuest, CNKI and VIP. Then analyzes the connotation and extension of the concept of Knowledge Network which puts forward by different field researchers at different place and in different time, and also brings forward the concept of Knowledge Network in information science not only with the view of quantitation and Knowledge Organization, but also with the view of the function and the structure of Knowledge Network. Finally, makes further discussion and analysis about the connotation and the characteristic of the General Knowledge Network and Special Knowledge Network.
