摘要
相控阵雷达天线在进行宽带宽角扫描时,天线波束会“色散”,使得到的距离像展宽,从而降低了系统分辨率。频率步进信号是常用的合成宽带信号,该信号在各脉冲周期内均是窄带的。因此,频率步进相控阵雷达可以通过脉间配相的方法,解决相控阵天线波束随频率“色散”的问题,使其能够在宽角扫描下合成宽带信号,获得高分辨的目标距离像。该方法具有设备变动小易于实现的优点。
When phased array radar operates in wideband wide scan condition, the antenna beam is dispersed and thus the distance profile is broadened. That decreases system range resolution. Frequency-stepped signal is often used in wide-band signal synthesizing, which is a narrow band signal at each pulse period. So frequency stepped phased array radars can use phase matching at each pulse to solve the problem of antenna beam dispersion. Therefore wideband wide scan can be realized and high resolution distance profile can be obtained. This method is easy to realize and needs less equipment alteration.
