摘要
目的根据数字视频的特点,讨论数字视频压缩的必要性及其原理。方法采用变换编码+运动估计和运动补偿+熵编码等措施减小视频信号的冗余。结果产生了数字视频图像压缩编码的国际标准和中国的AVS编解码技术及其主要应用。结论随着计算机技术和编码技术的发展,必将有越来越多的新技术在保证数字视频质量的前提下而使码流减小,冗余度降低。单位频带内传输的信息量将增大。
Aim According to the properties of digital video signal, to discuss the necessity both of the digital video compression and its principal. Methods Using transform coding + motion estimation and motion compensation + entropy coding, etc which can reduce the redundancy of the video signal. Results There appears the international standard of the digital video compression & coding system and AVS which was invented by China. Conclusion As the development of the computer and coding technology, there must be more and more technique which can reduce the bit rate and play down the redundancy without any big or even noticeable distortion in the coding image. The information pre frequency will be increased, the quality of the digital video is not worsen and the information pre frequency will be increased.
