选用青年、中年和老年雄性大鼠各10只,用形态计量学和体视学方法定量分析弓状核神经元年龄性变化结果发现在老年大鼠弓状核、部分暗型和亮型经元内(?)面内质网排列紊乱、缩短和双层膜间隔增宽,线粒体嵴断裂、肿胀和空泡化,溶酶体、微管和颗粒小泡数减少:与青、中年组比较神经元数(0.01mm)分别丢失37和27核仁平均体积缩小30(?)左右;线粒体体密度和脂褐素数增加,但神经元截面积未发生明显变化:核仁样体出现率减少.结果提示,老年下丘脑弓状核已发生衰老性改变,这可能有与老年期机体内分泌和神经内分泌功能变化有关,为研究老年下丘脑神经递质失调提供形态学依据.
The study was intended to analyse quantitatively and qualitativly the age-related changes of neurons in the hypothalamic arcuate nucleus (ARCN) for 3 different age groups of male rats(3, 10, 30-34 months old). There were aging changes of the dark and light neurons of the ARCN in the aged group. These changes included disordered RER, expanded cisternae, detached ribo-some, some swellen mitochondria, the breaking of membrane structure, the disappearance of the crest, and the decrease of vacuolation, microtubulus, lysosome, dense cored vesicles and nucleo-lus-like body. The number of neurons (0.01 mm2), nucleolar volume, their mitochondrial numerical density and RER surface density decreased and mitochondrial volume density and lipo-fuscin number of neurons increased. However, there were no significant differences in the average area of neuronal somas among the three separate groups (P>0.05). The study suggests that these morphological aging changes may be involved in the reduction of neurosecretory cell function in aged rats.
