摘要
研究了基于提升框架下整数小波变换与矢量量化相结合在静止图像处理中的应用。将提升框架的整数小波变换的优点同矢量量化编码方法相结合,可在一定程度上解决编码速率低,难以生成通用码本的问题,同时小波变换方法的优点还能克服LBG等经典算法对高频分量的平滑,提高了分辨率。仿真结果表明:采用提升方法的整数小波变换和矢量量化相结合进行静止图像的压缩,同经典的图像压缩算法相比,在一定程度上降低了计算复杂度,提高了压缩效率,同时简化了编码与解码的过程,并可利用数字信号处理器(DSP)予以实现。
An approach of still image coding is discussed in this paper. The integer wavelet transform combining with the vector quantization based on lifting scheme can solve the problems of low coding efficient and difficult to create popular coding book in some degree. Meantime, the algorithm based on wavelet transform can overcome LBG etc. classical coding algorithms smoothness to high frequent component of image partly, so resolution was improved. Simulation results illustrated that in some degree algorithm described here can improve compression ratio, decrease complexity of computation and simplify coding and encoding.
