摘要
联合照片专家组JPEG是静止图像数据压缩的国际标准。从分析标准JPEG算法中离散余弦变换(DCT)变换的不足,引入自适应量化算法对标准JPEG量化表加以修正。从分析JPEG图像在高频区域中出现的量化噪声的不足,引入了不规则图像编码并加以改善。通过微机仿真表明,在相同压缩比的条件下,较标准JPEG的恢复图像信噪比有所提高,同时恢复图像的质量也有改进,这种方法有一定的价值和实用性。
JPEG is the international standard of the still image data compression.Based on the deficiency of DCT transform in JPEG,an auto adaptation quantization algorithm is proposed in the paper.Based on the visible quantization noise of JPEG image in the high frequency regions,a Fractal Image Coding algorithm is also introdued in the paper. Through the simulation on PC,compare with the standard JPEG,the proposed method has a higher psnr and quality with the same compression ratio.The proposed method has some value and practicality.
