金属硫蛋白在男性生殖系统中的定位及作用

摘要 金属硫蛋白(MT)是一类低相对分子质量、富含半胱氨酸的细胞内蛋白,在人类至少有10种MT功能性基因亚型存在。MT与机体许多病理生理学过程有关,如金属离子的稳态和解毒,抗氧化损伤,细胞增殖和凋亡,对放、化疗药物的抗药性等。在男性生殖系统中MT也广泛分布,本文就MT在男性生殖系统中定位及作用做一综述。 Metallothioneins (MTs) are a group of intracellular proteins of low molecular weight and rich cysteine, encoded by a family of genes containing at least 10 functional isoforms in human. MTs widely exist in the male reproductive system and are involved in many pathophysiological processes such as metal ion homeostasis and detoxification, protection against oxidative damage, cell proliferation and apoptosis, chemoresistance and radiotherapy resistance. This review describes the location and effects of MTs in the male reproductive system.
