The importance of Intra-flight Data Link （IFDL） is pointed out. The features of IFDL are expatiated including low transferring delay, low probability of detecting （LPD） and low probability of interfering （LPI）, etc. The all - important problems such as frequency selection, narrow beam antenna design and channel access protocol implementation are discussed. The schemes or approaches are provided. The significance of building platforms for developing wireless network protocols is mentioned and the techniques are put forward as well.
