Objective To study on the relationship between contents of partial necessary nutrition elements, heavy metals in fetus, monther and occurrence of ill pregnancy. Methods The contents of many kinds of elements such as Ca,Zn,Cu,Fe,Se,Pb,Cd, Hg were respectively detected in cerebra, gluteu, thymus, occipital bone, liverof congenital malformed and inevitable abortion foetus at the age of five to eight months and correlative gravida's blood, umbilic blood, placenta, and the contents of vitamin A from gravida's blood and urnbilic blood. The results were compared with control group. Results In group of ill pregnanted fetus, the contents of necessary nutrition elements in blood and tissue were all lower except that Fe in the group of congenital malformed foetus was high. The variation was especially evident in gravida's blood, umbilic blood, placenta, and liver of fetus. The contents of heavy metals such as Pb, Cd, Hg were all higher, and the variation was evident in placenta, liver of fetus and occipital bone. Conclusion The delivery of fetus with ill pregnancy has a close relation with lack of partial necessary nutrition elements and accumulation of heavy metals.
