医疗废物已伴随了我们几十年,几乎与香港的医疗历史一样长,然而直到几年前才有人予以注意。面对这样一种形势,医院管理局于1992年组建了一个工作组专门调查这个问题。 医院废物管理的目标现已由医院管理局确定为:“保证医院管理局所辖医院和门诊的医疗废物得到正确的和安全的处理,保护职员、废物处理人及可能接触到这些废物的人的健康。”
Medical waste has beas been with us for decades, almost as long as has been medical practice in Hong Kong, and no one has paid much attention to until a few years back. Faced with such a situation, the HA formes a working grou on Medical Waste in December 1992 to look into the issue.The objective of medical waste management has now been clearly established and endorsed by the Authority as: 'to ensure proper and disposal of all waste from HA hospitals and clinics, to protect the well-being of staff, wastehandlers and the public who may come into contact with such waste.
