Numerical simulation of plasma current and configuration evolution in the EAST

摘要 EAST托卡马克是世界上第一台全超导托卡马克装置。文章利用普林斯顿大学开发的著名托卡马克模拟程序对EAST的首轮放电中等离子体电流和位形的控制进行了数值模拟,获得的结果与实验吻合得很好,说明控制系统的稳定性。同时模拟结果对EAST今后开展等离子体平衡和控制系统设计有重要的参考价值。 The Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) is the first full superconducting tokamak in the world. The paper deals with numerical simulation of the plasma current and configuration control in the first discharge of the EAST with the famous Tokamak Simulation Code developed by Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory. The results of numerical simulation agree well with the experiment ones, which indicates that the feedback control system is stable. The obtained results are valuable for the design of the plasma equilibrium and control system of the EAST.
