西沙西永1井礁相第四纪地层的划分 被引量:18

摘要 从岩石地层学、地球化学地层学和碳、氧稳定同位素地层学,对西永1井礁相第四纪地层做了新的划分。进一步证实永兴岛岛屿相沉积物为末次冰期阶段形成,无全新世地层记录,第四纪地层钻厚258m,其中晚更新世地层厚44m,中更新世地层厚40m,早更新世地层厚174m。 A new stratigraphic division has been done to Quaternary reef-facies sediments in hole Xiyong-1 according to lithostratigraphy, geochemical stratigraphy as well as carbon and oxygen isotope stratigraphy, after restudies of rock-chip samples from hole Xiyong-1 under 340m deep. This has confirmed that island-facies sediments from Yongxing Island formed during the last glacial period. There is no Holocene stratigraphic records. The total drill penetration into Quaternary sediments is 258m, including 44m of late Pleistocene, 40m of middle Pleistocene and 174m of early Pleistocene. Strong dolomitization and dolomite wedge appear below bottom boundary of Quaternary, indicating that late Pliocene is an important epoch of event sedimentation. Repetition of sea-level changes, and alternation of vertical accretion and lateral growth of organic reef have shown that glacial effect can also exist clearly in tropical organic reef area.
