APPLICATION OF VANET TO CITY ROAD TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

摘要 对VANET在城市道路交通管理中的应用进行了研究.利用NS2仿真平台,通过添加节点城区移动模型建立了VANET的网络模型,并编写了仿真场景,同时对MANET的两种经典路由协议——AODV和DSDV在VANET中的性能进行了仿真.研究结果表明,按需路由协议较主动路由协议更适合于VANET. VANET is a special case of MANET, and will play an important role in city road traffic management. The application of VANET to city road traffic management was studted. Using NS2 simulation platform, city section mobility model of nodes was added, the network model of VANET was set up, the simulation scene was compiled, the performances of AODV and DSDV, two classical routing protocols of MANET, in VANETwere Simulated and analyzed, and the conclusion that on demand routing protocols are more suitable for VANET than active routing protocols was derived. The results have some value in the research and application of VANET to traffic management.
