摘要
由于高职高专英语教学有其特殊性,传统的课程设置难以培养社会所需要的应用型人才。根据英国语言学家David Nunan的理论,以学习者为中心的英语课程设置能帮助学生积极主动地构建知识,符合学生和社会的实际需求。
In China, we have a lot of students from vocational and technical colleges, who are the major labor force in the future. English, one of the major courses in the colleges, is not ideally designed. Therefore, it is necessary to reform the curriculum by developing a learner-centered approach based on their needs analysis, thus improving the course and making it appropriate to their needs.
