Design of a new type of ultra wideband planar monopole antenna

摘要 介绍了一种新型超宽带平面单极子天线,利用仿真软件分析比较了天线各部分参数对其性能的影响.采用介质敷铜板替代常规的金属面板作为辐射单元并在上面开孔,使天线的阻抗特性得以改善.按照仿真优化的参数制作的天线,经测试,该天线在1.2 GHz^3.5 GHz的频率范围内VSWR<2,具有超宽带的工作特性.该天线结构简单,加工方便,制造成本低,具有较大的实用价值. A new type of planar monopole antenna with extremely wide bandwidth is introduced. Effect on performance from each part of the antenna is analyzed by simulation software. Antenna' s impedance matching is improved by adopting copper clad dielectric slab with two circle holes instead of normal metal slab as the radiating element. The antenna made according to the optimized parameter reaches VSWR〈 2 from 1.2 GHz to 3.5 GHz, which has the ultra wideband performance. The antenna has the characteristic of simple structure, easy to make, low cost of manufacture, and it has considerable practical value.
