Abstract The development of Scanning Near field Optic Microscopy (SNOM) breaks the traditional diffraction limit on resolution, which renders the optical resolution to increase from μm to nm. The Raman Spectrograph coupled with SNOM will have a revolutionary effect on the applications of Raman spectroscopy.
