摘要
改革开放后,随着教育功能观的转变,顾明远先生首次明确提出了"现代教育"这个学术概念,并在此基础上逐步建立了"教育现代化"思想体系。顾明远先生认为,"现代教育"是现代生产的产物,具有平等性、终身性、生产性、个性性、多样性、信息化、开放性、科学性等基本特征。"教育现代化"是传统教育向"现代教育"转换的过程,其核心是教育思想的现代化。在探索中国"教育现代化"的发展之路时,必须处理好"现代教育"与传统教育的关系,正确对待外国教育思想和经验。
With the reform and opening up in China, the outlook of educational functions has also transformed. Professor Gu Mingyuan brought forward the academic concept of "modern education" definitely for the first time and gradual- ly established "educational modernization" on this basis. He believes that "modern education" is the outcome of modern production, with eight basic characteristics of equality, lifelong learning, productivity, individulity, diversity, informatization, openness and scientificity, etc. Educational modernization is a process of transformation from traditional education to modern education, the core of which is the modernization of educational thoughts. On the way of exploring the educational modernization in China, we need to coordinate the relationship between modern education and traditional education, and treat foreign educational thoughts and experience with appropriate attitude.
