摘要 汽车牌照自动识别技术是智能交通系统的关键技术之一。车牌定位作为车牌识别流程的第一步,定位的结果直接影响到整个系统的性能。近年来许多学者对车牌定位进行了较为深入的研究和探讨,相继提出一些基于纹理特征、颜色信息和运用数学工具的新方法、新思路。尽管如此,目前国内尚无一个完善和通用的汽车牌照定位方法。本文通过分析国内汽车牌照的特征,对近些年来出现的各种汽车牌照定位方法进行综述。 The license plate recognition plays a significant role in ITS, License plate location, the first step in LPRo has great effect on the following steps,such as license plate division and characters recognition.Over the years, some new methods and new ideas has been studied,as lots of scholars dedicated themselves into this field.Nevertheless, there was not a perfect license plate location at home.Based on analysis of license plates' features,existing license plate location methods were addressed in full details.
