摘要
苯酚与亚硝酸钠在中性介质中发生反应,其亚硝化产物在单扫描示波极谱上产生灵敏的吸附还原波。峰电位为-0.45V(对SCE)。苯酚浓度(2.9×10^(-7)~8.7×10^(-5)mol/L)与峰电流呈良好的线性关系。检测下限达5.8×10^(-8)mol/L。方法应用于废水中苯酚含量的测定,与其它方法测定结果相一致。实验发现,凡是能亚硝基化的酚类都可以用这一方法测定。本文探讨了亚硝化产物在滴汞电极表面的吸附行为和电极反应机理。
Phenol can react with sodium nitrite in the neutral medium. Reaction products can reduce at the mercury electrode with a well defined single sweep polarographic wave (Ep=-0.45V, vs SCE). The peak height is proportional to the concentration of phenol over a range of 2.9×10^(-7)-8.7×10^(-3)mol/L. The detection limit is 5.8×10^(-8)mol/L. The method has been applied to determine trace amounts of phenol in water samples, and the results conform to those by spectrophotometry. Several phenols can be determined by the recommended procedure.The behaviour of polarographic wave was studied and the mechanism of electrode reaction was explored.
