摘要
在断口宏观检查的基础上,利用电子探针、能谱分析等手段,对某发动机球墨铸铁曲轴断裂断口的微观组织和化学成分等进行检测,分析讨论断裂失效的原因。结果表明,该曲轴为脆性断裂,断口上有石墨漂浮,硅元素偏析,心部有疏松、夹渣、气孔等缺陷,铸造缺陷的产生以及材料组织的不均匀性,是诱发裂纹、导致曲轴脆性断裂的重要原因。
Based on the macro observation, the microstructure and the chemical composition of the fracture of a broken ductile cast iron crankshaft were tested by means of EPMA and EDS. The reason of failure was analyzed. The results indicate that the crankshaft was broken by brittleness, there are some graphite floating and segregation of silicon element on the fracture, some casting defects such as porosities, slag inclusions and air-hole exist at the centre of the fracture. The casting defects and the nonuniformity of microstructure are the important causes which induces brittle fracture of the crankshaft.
