Based on the Brightness and Maximize Entropy to Keep the Local Histogram Equalization

摘要 直方图均衡是一种常用的进行对比度增强的方法,但是,传统的直方图均衡(HE)的输出和输入图像的均值亮度没有联系,而亮度保持在很多消费类电子产品中是需要的。本文提出了基于熵最大化和亮度保持的部分重叠的局部直方图均衡方法(局部BPHEME)。实验结果表明,本方法不仅保持了图像亮度,而且,改善了图像的熵,增强了图像的细节。 Histogram is a useful method for contract enhancement, but after the histogram equalization (HE), the mean brightness of the output image is different from the input one, Preserving the brightness in many consumer electronics products is needed. This paper proposed a method which is partially overlapped local histogram equalization based on maximum entropy and brightness preserving (Local BPHEME). And the results show that this method can not only preserve the brightness, but also improve the entropy and the details of the images well.
